Good morning, I hope and pray that you had a GREA week. Today's message "Self Destruction" For we must guard from harmful desires that lead us to self destruction. For many chasing after the things that are meaningless, having NO eternal value. These things become a diversion and have the tendency to distract us from what is good. But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For the word tells us that we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. The word goes on to tell us that those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. For we must be careful and guarded from becoming prey to these desires. For NO amount of wealth measures up to the richness that comes through a personal relationship with our Messiah. I encourage you to search your heart and pray that the desires of your heart are to find contentment. You think about that. Have a GREAT day and may you bless and encourage many along the way. And be sure to make time for some R&R “Rest & Reflection” over the weekend!
