Warrior,
Good afternoon, I hope and pray that you had a GREAT weekend. Today's message "Good In Appearance Only" I'm reminded today in my devotion that what may appear good isn't necessarily good. In the book of Genesis, Abraham and Lot started their journey and over time they were blessed abundantly. With the increase that they both received it became difficult for them to travel together. And Abraham didn't want anything to come between him and Lot. So, Abraham gave Lot the choice to select whatever part of the land that he wanted for himself. Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of YHWH, like the land of Egypt. Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. And the two men parted company. We all know how that turned out. The land that Lot chose for himself the people were wicked and against YHWH. And as a result of this, the land was destroyed. We also have to be careful when making choices in life. Sometimes what appears to be good isn't necessarily good for us. In fact it can be quite the opposite and be the mere thing that leads to our destruction. I want to encourage you to take every decision you make before our King and seek His direction. For He knows better than we do, what is right and good for us. You think about that. Have a GREAT day and may you bless and encourage many along the way!
